Tegan and Sara.  I LOVE their music.  Its amazing, its wonderful, its clever, above all its HONEST TRUTH.  I don’t think I’ve ever agreed with two people the way I agree with Tegan and Sara.  I listen to their music and I have either felt or I am currently feeling what they’re singing about.  Good job ladies.

So wanna check them out?  Because if you don’t know about these awesome twins, you need to.  Here are a few of my favorite tracks:

All of their songs are great, but I think starting with these 10 is pretty good.  Well maybe Living Room, Nineteen, and Monday Monday Monday should be added too.  Those are good songs.  Really besides Tegan and Sara I’ve been listening to Rooney and The Hood Internet like crazy.  I’m in LOVE with Robert Schwartzman.  Well not in love but if he ever asked me anything I’d just smile and say yes.  “Yes Robert I’d love to clean your gutters.”  Or “Sure Robert I’ll balance you’re checkbook.”  That guy could get me to do my homework.

Bloc Party’s newest cd, Intimacy, is amazing too.  Talons is my favorite track so far, but I love Mercury.  One more band.  Murder By Death.  They have this awesome old west, country, indie rock sound that just gets better every time you listen.  Think The Black Keys but more rock and no less soul.  The lead singer has some Johnny Cash in his voice, and I’ve seen them live, the celloist is amazing, she really puts her entire being into her performance.

So yeah if you’re into new music then def. get all of that I mentioned above.
